What to charge for Google Apps?

We have been following the on-going discussion with great interest between existing and potential Google Apps Resellers on the Google Solution Providers’ website over the weekend.

Somebody started the discussion with “I am thinking of reselling Google Apps for $60 per year, but that only leaves me $10 margin. Do I really want to do this?”. Of course not.

Jeff@Google, a Google employee responding on the forum hits the nail on the head by saying that there are customers willing to pay for services in order to avoid risk, save time, get full feature value and have piece of mind.

These are the people that we provide services for and exactly for those reasons.
Our customers are small and medium sized companies that are tired of system updates, software upgrades, the hassles of backups, etc. and are looking for a solution that makes their (business) life easier and less stressful.

These are the customers that have come to realize that often their existing on-premise infrastructure does not allow them to collaborate and share information with others in an efficient way.

These are the customers that have come to realize that we, by seeing often creative solutions from other customers and being a serverless company ourselves, can offer them guidance with their first steps and their next steps into cloud computing and the advantages it can offer.

So for everything you wanted to know about Google Apps but were afraid to ask: drop us a note.
